"Therapy Education" Creating Miserable Students

The British press is showing increased interest in its crumbling education system, as shown in the coverage of a new book by two British professors. The book - The Dangerous Rise of Therapeutic Education - due next month, claims that teaching has turned into therapy which is "destroying the minds of children, young people and adults". This also seems to be the case in the United States. Dr. Hayes, one of the two authors, says that "children are becoming neurotic and introverted.
